Thousands of people defied the rains to attend a memorial service for Nelson Mandela.
US President Barack Obama in
a speech at the memorial service described Nelson Mandela as a man who left a
lot to be learnt and the great liberator of the twentieth century.
He urged young people of
South Africa and the world to make Mandela’s life a challenge to work out their
own lives.
South Africa President Jacob
Zuma in his speech described Mandela as a courageous leader and a fearless
freedom fighter.
