Jonathan Makes History As Nigerian President To Delegate Budget Presentation To National Assembly

The Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the economy Doctor Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala has presented the twenty fourteen budget estimate of four point six trillion naira to the National Assembly.

The Minister laid the budget at a joint session of the National Assembly without giving any details of the figures and fiscal assumptions.

She told newsmen after emerging from the Senate chamber that the budget will create new jobs and confirm President Jonathan’s transformation agenda for several sectors of the economy.
