Bayelsa State Government Condemns Repentant Militants Protest

The Bayelsa State Government have condemned the actions of the repentant militants who went on rampage disrupting traffic as well as damaging vehicles and molesting innocent citizens on the streets of Yenagoa yesterday.

A statement from the Commissioner of Information Markson Fefegha calls on the youths to use lawful means in settling their dispute instead of breaching the peace of the state.

Fefegha says government would not condone such acts anymore saying that anyone caught culpable would be made to face the full wrath of the law.

Meanwhile residence of the area which vehicles were damaged by the protesting former militants described their actions as callous and barbaric.
