Soludo Is A Fraud - Okonjo Iweala

The Federal Government says the five year tenure of Professor Charles Soludo as the Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria was a failure and a disaster to the banking sector.

The Minister of Finance, Doctor Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala who gave the description in a statement said professor Soludo committed what she called intellectual fraud in his article which he criticised the economic policies of the current administration.

She said the language used by the former CBN governor in the article showed that he is an embittered loser in the Nigerian political space.

She accused professor Soludo of deliberately misquoting facts and turning statistics on their head to justify what the minister referred to as a hatchet job.
