The Inspector General of
Police, Suleiman Abba has in the meantime ordered all state commands to mop up
all illegal arms in circulation and re-strategise to check thuggery and related
violence ahead of the twenty fifteen general elections.
The police boss disclosed this
when he met with senior police officers in Abuja yesterday.
Suleiman Abba also expressed concern that three months after the attacks on police training camp at Gwoza in Borno State by the insurgents, over twenty police officers declared missing are yet to return.
