A former
Accountant-General and Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Finance in Lagos
State, Akunwunmi Ambode has pledged to consolidate on the achievements of a
former Governor Bola Tinubu and incumbent Governor Babatunde Fashola if elected
in twenty fifteen.
Ambode who made the pledge
when he formally declared his intention to seek the candidacy of the All
Progressives Congress for the office of the Lagos State governor said his focus
would be on job creation and the security of lives and property of Lagosians.
The Epe-born politician
also promised to operate a government that would not discriminate against any
tribe, religion and race if voted as governor.
