The Joint Task
Force in Maiduguri has said that Boko Haram leader, ABUBAKAR SHEKAU may have
died on gunshot wound he sustained in an encounter with troops in Sambisa
Forest on the thirtieth of June.
JTF Spokesman,
Lieutenant Colonel SAGIR MUSA in a statement that intelligence report indicated that he was sneaked into
Amitchide, a border community in Cameroon for treatment but was might have died
between July twenty fifth and third of August.
Meanwhile, Boko Haram is yet to react on this latest development.
