The Speaker of the House
of Representatives, Aminu Tambuwal, has congratulated Ayo Fayose on his
emergence as the governor-elect of Ekiti state followings his victory in
Saturday’s election in the state.
Aminu Tambuwal also
congratulated Governor Kayode Fayemi for conceding defeat.
He said Governor Fayemi’s
action to congratulate his opponent was a clear proof that the country’s
politics is imbibing standard global practices associated with electioneering
process.
