Uruguay participation
at the on-ongoing World Cup has suffered a huge set back as start striker, Luis
Suarez has been handed a four month ban which rules him out of the event.
The Liverpool
striker was suspended this afternoon from all football related activities
following his bite on Italy defender Giorgio Chiellini in their last group game
match which Uruguay won one-nil.
FIFA’s
independent disciplinary committee imposed the ban after finding Suarez guilty
of misconduct.
The twenty
seven year-old father of one is also handed nine international match ban and
sixty-thousand seven hundred pounds fine.
