The nine PDP members of
the Edo State House of Assembly have held a separate plenary at the Assembly
which is undergoing renovation.
The plenary was held
around tight security with the suspended Deputy Speaker, Festus Ebea, presiding
as Speaker.
The lawmakers described
the renovation of the assembly complex as illegal because it did not go through
the process.
The fifteen APC members of
the Assembly met last week at the old complex inside the Government House and
impeached the Deputy Speaker, Festus Ebea.
